Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Tassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tassen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tassen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tassen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Jones.
Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
