Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis fails to land with a series of punches.
Willis shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.

Willis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Stone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Willis.
Willis throwing shots but Stone is blocking nicely.
Willis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Willis missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Willis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working.

Willis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Willis landing with the ground and pound.


It looks like Jack Stone has been cut.
Willis sitting in guard here, content to control.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Willis from controlling successfully.
Stone working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Willis.
Willis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Willis stops Stone from standing up.
Willis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Willis throws and elbow that misses. Stone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Willis's guard. Nice move by Stone!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Willis wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Willis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Willis postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
Willis lands a couple of digs.
Stone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Willis looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Willis is adopting a defensive guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patrick Willis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack Stone's cut.
That's time! Willis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Willis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Willis.
Good exchange - Stone coming out on top.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A combination from Willis does no damage.
Stone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Willis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet.
Willis avoids the head kick by Stone.
Willis tries for a takedown but Stone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Willis.
Willis takes one to the side of the head.
Willis takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Willis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stone!
Willis thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stone tries to buck Willis off but he can't manage it.

Willis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
You get the feeling that Stone really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Willis misses with a head shot.
Stone holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Willis tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.
Willis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stone's face.
Willis throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Stone because Willis loaded up on that one.
The referee warns Stone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


That has opened up Jack Stone's cut even more.
Stone in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


The cut above Jack Stone's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Stone's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Patrick Willis!
