Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Mc Jaggles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Carson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Mc Jaggles!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mc Jaggles gets tackled into the cage by Carson. Carson maintains the clinch.

Carson jumps into guard, dragging Mc Jaggles to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mc Jaggles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mc Jaggles not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mc Jaggles trying to stand up but can't free himself from Carson's guard.
Mc Jaggles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mc Jaggles's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carson is on top in guard.

Mc Jaggles is trying to control the position but Carson postures up.

Carson stands up out of the half guard.

and Carson counters with a low kick, right behind Mc Jaggles 's knee.

and Carson counters by moving into the clinch.

Carson is pressed up against the cage. Mc Jaggles has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carson down to the mat. Carson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mark Carson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Mc Jaggles.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mc Jaggles enables Carson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mc Jaggles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mc Jaggles is proving hard to escape from.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Mark Carson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Carson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mc Jaggles is being controlled here.
Mc Jaggles is trying to improve his position.
Carson is looking to take a break and control but Mc Jaggles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Carson just content to control the position.

Mc Jaggles is looking to regain half guard here but Carson keeps moving and retains side control.

Carson decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Carson lands with a straight right. Mc Jaggles didn't see that one coming.
Carson throws a head kick but Mc Jaggles moves out of range.

Carson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Carson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mc Jaggles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carson tries to control but Mc Jaggles wriggling away.
Carson prevents Mc Jaggles from getting the reversal.
Carson lands a big shot there that rocks Mc Jaggles but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mc Jaggles tries to hold on but Carson pushes him away.
Carson looking to control but Mc Jaggles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mc Jaggles is looking to get to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carson prevents Mc Jaggles from getting the reversal.

Carson wants to finish this one by submission but Mc Jaggles is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Carson.
Carson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mc Jaggles is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's time! Carson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Carson throws a series of punches but Mc Jaggles moves out of range.
Mc Jaggles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Carson counters with a shoot takedown. Mc Jaggles fights it but they end up in guard.

Carson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Carson stays in close to Mc Jaggles's body and controls the position.
Mc Jaggles has a closed guard, preventing Carson from standing up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mark Carson just wasn't active enough.

Carson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mc Jaggles tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Carson is in Mc Jaggles's guard.

Carson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Carson wants to control from the top but Mc Jaggles keeps moving.
Carson stops Mc Jaggles from standing up.
Carson tries to free his leg and advance position but Mc Jaggles is retaining full guard.
Carson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Mark Carson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mc Jaggles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Carson wants to stand but Mc Jaggles has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Carson wants to take a breather but Mc Jaggles is having none of it.

Carson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mark Carson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Carson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
