PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Schuckman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gailfus has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Tyler Schuckman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gailfus misses with a takedown attempt
and Schuckman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gailfus closes the distance but Schuckman moves to the side
and Schuckman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Schuckman dodges the punch combination from Gailfus.
Gailfus is breathing heavily.
Gailfus looks to clinch
and Gailfus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gailfus fails with the takedown
and Schuckman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Schuckman lands with a kick to the temple. Gailfus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Gailfus darts in and clinches Schuckman up against the cage.

Schuckman breaks from the clinch.

Schuckman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Schuckman throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schuckman trying to control but Gailfus is having none of it.
Gailfus is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Schuckman throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Schuckman moves to the back position.
Will Schuckman go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Gailfus is trying to defend against the choke here but Schuckman has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Schuckman Tightens the hold and Gailfus taps out furiously! Schuckman displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
