The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killings looks for a takedown but Diggler sprawls well.

Diggler moves into the clinch.
Diggler creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Diggler lands an elbow inside.
Killings blocks an elbow strike from Diggler.
Diggler lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Killings has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Diggler uses from the top position.
Killings utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diggler wants to pass the guard but Killings is keeping the position.

Killings should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Killings had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diggler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Killings Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diggler's back instead.

Killings is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

You can see the frustration on Diggler's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Diggler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killings swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Killings shoots in for a double leg but Diggler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Killings feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Killings is pushing down on Diggler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diggler is fighting to maintain full guard but Killings has managed to sneak the leg through.
Killings works his way into side control.
Killings has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Killings working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Diggler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Killings on the ground.

Killings working for a submission but Diggler is keeping him at bay.
Diggler is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Killings is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Killings extends the arm and Diggler is forced to tap!
