Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabiano DeSilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramires might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. DeSilva has chosen Todd Rundgren - Bang On The Drum All Day as his entrance music. Sonny Ramires could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fabiano DeSilva's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabiano DeSilva!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from DeSilva.
Sloppy strikes from DeSilva. Those never looked like landing.
Ramires keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ramires lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
DeSilva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
DeSilva scores with a punch to the head.
DeSilva digs a good hook to Ramires's body.
Ramires showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from DeSilva.
Ramires shoots in looking for a takedown. DeSilva tries to sprawl out of it but Ramires keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeSilva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
DeSilva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramires bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ramires showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from DeSilva.
DeSilva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramires counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
DeSilva is letting Ramires control him for a moment.
Ramires is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. DeSilva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ramires wants to control but DeSilva is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if DeSilva can do anything to dispel that myth.
DeSilva bucks up and tries to throw Ramires off but instead Ramires has got his back!
DeSilva tries to escape the position.
Ramires looking to break DeSilva's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. DeSilva remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ramires will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
