Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Luis Cantero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ginger Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantero comes to the cage accompanied by La mandanga. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann leaves Cantero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mann throws a sloppy body shot

and Cantero decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mann's guard.
Cantero prevents Mann from getting back to his feet.
Mann wants to sweep here but Cantero controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cantero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cantero wants to control from the top but Mann keeps moving.
Mann lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cantero!

Mann looking to ground and pound but Cantero is blocking nicely.
Mann can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cantero is looking to escape.
Cantero is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cantero wants to control but Mann is having none of it.
Mann tries to control but Cantero wriggling away.
Mann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cantero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cantero tries to lock up and control but Mann gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cantero slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Cantero wants to improve his position but Mann is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cantero dodges the punch combination from Mann.
Cantero avoids the body shot from Mann.

Mann throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cantero counters with a shoot takedown. Mann fights it but they end up in guard.

Cantero is pushing down on Mann's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mann is fighting to maintain full guard but Cantero has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cantero looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Cantero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mann keeps working.

Mann is looking to get back to is feet but Cantero passes into side control.

Cantero prevents Mann from escaping the position.
Mann wants to control but Cantero postures up.

Cantero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mann is trying to escape and Cantero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mann is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cantero! Very nice indeed!
