Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Maurizio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manollo Sedano de Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maurizio comes to the cage accompanied by March of the Pigs (Valerna Remix). Sedano de Oliveira has chosen Apaga Mais Não Bate as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurizio goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Sedano de Oliveira is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maurizio is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maurizio has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maurizio closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maurizio lands in his opponent's guard.

Sedano de Oliveira has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Maurizio is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sedano de Oliveira.
