Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonad with a poor takedown
and Tahi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A right-left combo lands from Tahi.
Gonad is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tahi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tahi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tahi lands a glancing blow to the side of Gonad's head.
Gonad shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tahi as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Gonad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tahi avoids it really well and circles away.
Gonad misses with a takedown attempt
and Tahi counters with a left and a right that stings Gonad.
Tahi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tahi stalks Gonad and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gonad's face. Gonad staggers backwards, shaken.

Gonad shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gonad trying to control the position from guard on top but Tahi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tahi wants to stand and escape but Gonad is having none of it.

Gonad advances position into side control!
Tahi is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Tahi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gonad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tahi, who protects the arm well.

Gonad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tahi seems a little lost for a moment, as Gonad dominates the positioning.

Gonad is working to tighten is grip on Tahi's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tahi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gonad is really squeezing tight and eventually Tahi passes out! Gonad breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
