The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maggio tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Maggio pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Robinson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Maggio wants to clinch up but Robinson keeps it at a distance.
Robinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maggio is looking to clinch.
Robinson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maggio.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maggio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Maggio will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Robinson up against the cage.
Maggio seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Robinson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Maggio prevents it.
Robinson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
