The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scylla lands with a nice combination. Dudu backs away looking to recover.
Dudu thuds a left hand into Scylla's body.
Scylla takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Dudu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scylla paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dudu tries to land knees in the clinch but Scylla avoids the damage to the body.
Dudu will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Scylla up against the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dudu throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dudu stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Scylla tries to free his leg and advance position but Dudu is retaining full guard.
Dudu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dudu is trying to control. Scylla wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Scylla wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eduardo Dudu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Scylla has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dudu regains guard immediately.

Dudu tries to buck Scylla off but Scylla is having none of it.

Dudu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Scylla wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dudu wants to sweep here but Scylla controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scylla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dudu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dudu can't keep his opponent in guard - Scylla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
