Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Binky Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksey Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Burn This City. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Barnes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Barnes throws a combination that misses
and Ivanov counters with a nice uppercut.
Ivanov scores with a hook to the body. Barnes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Barnes misses with a left hand

and Ivanov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Barnes's guard now.
Ivanov thows a big elbow that misses.
Barnes wants to stand and escape but Ivanov is having none of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ivanov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Barnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ivanov on the ground.
Ivanov postures up in Barnes's guard and throws a big left but Barnes blocks it.
Ivanov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Barnes keeping moving, preventing Ivanov from controlling successfully.
Ivanov prevents Barnes from getting back to his feet.

Ivanov trying to control the position from guard on top but Barnes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ivanov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ivanov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Barnes screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ivanov! Nice submission victory there!
