Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yvon Yeva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sutter Kain - August Underground . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yvon Yeva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Yeva which made him look bad.
Sloppy strikes from Yeva. Those never looked like landing.
Yeva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Yeva swinging wildly here.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yeva lands a head shot.
Yeva throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yeva avoids it really well and circles away.

Jones gets tackled into the cage by Yeva. Yeva maintains the clinch.
Yeva scores with a shoulder strike.
Yeva keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good shot there by Yeva.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Yeva tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yeva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yeva napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Yeva sneaks out the side door and pushes Jones away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Jones tries to clinch but Yeva is having none of it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Yeva shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Yeva to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Yeva throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.

Yeva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Yeva shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Yeva to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Yeva Rushes Jones and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Jones is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Yeva Piles on the pressure and Jones crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
