Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trent Strope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Yang!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang tries for a takedown but Strope circles away easily
and Strope counters with a stiff right hand.
Yang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Strope sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Strope lands a slapping body shot.
Yang shoots in looking for a takedown but Strope manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yang's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Trent Strope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Yang.
Yang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Strope is fending him off so far but Yang persists. Nope, Strope circles away and we're back to standing.
Yang looks gassed!
Strope jabs Yang to the body, keeping him at a distance.
William Yang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strope connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yang's hands.
Jab, jab by Strope - just one landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yang walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Yang moves forwards but Strope connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Strope works Yang's body with a nice hook.
Yang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Yang is rocked!
Yang leaves his chin hanging out and Strope seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Yang crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trent Strope!
