Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Remington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Lu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remington comes to the cage accompanied by Kymani Marley - Warriors. Che Lu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remington shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lu's guard.
Remington loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Remington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Remington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A head kick lands from Lu that sends Remington to the canvas. Remington tries to scramble back to his feet but Lu brings him back down into side control.
Remington is not content to let Lu control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Remington throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Che Lu dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Remington clinches up against the cage.
Lu is looking to break free of the clinch but Remington has double underhooks.
Lu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Remington has Lu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Remington decides to pull guard.
Lu is looking to stand up but Remington won't let him.
Remington is trying to keep Lu in close.
Remington wants to sweep but no luck.
Lu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Remington is looking to stand back up but Lu counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Remington.
Lu tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Remington is trying to buck Lu off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Remington is looking to reverse the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Remington swivels and escapes.
Lu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lu tries a head kick but it misses.
Whack! Lu lands a heavy head kick that drops Remington. The ref tackles Lu to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Remington was done.
