The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormack stuffs the takedown.
Alexander tries to clinch up but McCormack circles away and keeps his distance.
McCormack looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Alexander has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McCormack finds it's way round the side to connect with Alexander's head.
Alexander misses with a takedown attempt - McCormack sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alexander throws a series of punches but McCormack avoids them all with ease.
McCormack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCormack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alexander's hands.
McCormack throws a right and a left that Alexander avoids nicely.
Alexander uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McCormack.
Alexander fails with an attempt to clinch.
McCormack scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch but McCormack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCormack closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Alexander! McCormack dives in looking to finish! Alexander is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cyril McCormack!
