Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crimson Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esmael Alabdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red comes to the cage accompanied by The Red. Alabdullah has chosen Price Tag as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Crimson Red!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Esmael Alabdullah!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alabdullah misses with a looping right.

Red tries to sprawl but Alabdullah drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Alabdullah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Red is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Red is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
A nice elbow there by Alabdullah.

Red tries to hold on but Alabdullah pushes him away.
Alabdullah lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Alabdullah cracks Red with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Alabdullah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Red really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Alabdullah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Alabdullah prevents Red from getting the reversal.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Red tries to lock up and control but Alabdullah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A chopping leg kick lands by Alabdullah.
Red tries to bum rush Alabdullah with a series of wild strikes but Alabdullah uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Alabdullah counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Red!

Let's hope that Alabdullah has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Red knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alabdullah on the ground.

Alabdullah stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Alabdullah looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Alabdullah decides to stand up.

Red tries to clinch there but Alabdullah circles away.
Alabdullah keeps the fight on the outside.
Alabdullah has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Red is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alabdullah sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Alabdullah might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Red kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Alabdullah is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Esmael Alabdullah has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Esmael Alabdullah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Red sizes up Alabdullah with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alabdullah shoots in for a takedown but Red shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Alabdullah stuffs the takedown attempt from Red. Red gets slowly back to his feet.

Red manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Alabdullah has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Alabdullah decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Red's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crimson Red. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Esmael Alabdullah wasn't active enough on the ground.
Red shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Red changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alabdullah tries to avoid it but Red manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alabdullah to the ground. Alabdullah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck for Red with that takedown attempt.

Red scores with a push kick.
Red avoids a kick to the body.
Red shoots in but no luck this time.
Alabdullah fails with a takedown attempt.
Red moves in looking to clinch but Alabdullah pushes him off.
Red throws a head kick but Alabdullah moves out of range.

Red rushes Alabdullah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Red breaks from the clinch.
Red throws a sloppy head kick and Alabdullah moves out of range easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Red doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Alabdullah counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Red's guard now.
Alabdullah passes into half guard.
Red wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alabdullah looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Alabdullah trying to control the pace.
Alabdullah wants to take a breather but Red is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Esmael Alabdullah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Alabdullah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
