Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Stefano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stefano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Something Stupid - Frank Sianatra. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stefano slips a jab and a cross from Pettis.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Pettis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Pettis throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pettis wants to control the pace but Stefano is squirming around nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pettis moves into range and clinches up with Stefano.

Stefano drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Stefano lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pettis circles away quickly and effectively.
Pettis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stefano. Stefano circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pettis moves into the clinch successfully.
Pettis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stefanos head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stefano is trying to stall.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pettis.
