Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Schtrappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schtrappe's entrance music is Nitzer Ebb - Violent Playground. A fine choice. Axel Stevens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacque Schtrappe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Axel Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws a leg kick that is checked
and Schtrappe counters with a stiff right hand.
Schtrappe checks a leg kick nicely.
Stevens gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Schtrappe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stevens. Schtrappe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Schtrappe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens misses the shot to the body.
Stevens wants to clinch.
Stevens closes the distance looking to clinch
and Schtrappe counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stevens throws a body punch but Schtrappe moves out of range.
Stevens throws a low kick but Schtrappe moves out of range easily.
Schtrappe takes a swing at Stevens's ribcage but misses.
Stevens takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Stevens misses with a takedown
and Stevens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Axel Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stevens tries a head kick but it misses.
A bone on bone clash there as Schtrappe blocks the leg kick.
Stevens takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stevens misses with a leg kick
and Schtrappe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Schtrappe leaves Stevens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A low kick from Stevens is predictable there
and Schtrappe counters with a straight right hand.
A low kick from Stevens misses
and Schtrappe scores with a counter punch that sends Stevens to the canvas! Schtrappe smells blood - he's punishing Stevens with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Stevens has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacque Schtrappe!
