Gale is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gravity kills - Guilty. Take Down has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gale tries to land a front kick but Down steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gale stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Down is defended easily by Gale.
Gale throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gale throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gale uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Down.

Down feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Down is looking to work some ground and pound but Gale has wrist control.

Gale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Down. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gale is looking for a sweep. Down is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
