PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Donelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hosking might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War Machine. Joseph Donelly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donelly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Donelly works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Donelly throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hosking on the side of the head.
Donelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hosking has time to react.
A jab from Donelly finds it's way through Hosking's defenses.
Donelly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hosking drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd cheers as Donelly lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hosking doesn't seem phased though.
Hosking tries to clinch but Donelly moves away
and Donelly makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Donelly lands with a nice body punch.
Donelly lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Donelly changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Donelly lands a jab to Hosking's midsection.
Donelly lands a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donelly catches Hosking with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Joseph Donelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donelly thuds a left hand into Hosking's body.
Hosking is breathing heavily.
Hosking gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hosking misses with a takedown
and Donelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joseph Donelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hosking moves forwards but Donelly connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Donelly connects with a body shot that sends Hosking's belly button to the back.
A lazy left from Donelly finds it's target.
Donelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hosking takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jab, jab by Donelly - just one landing.
Donelly lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Hosking is rocked!

It looks like Vincent Hosking has been cut.
Hosking gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Donelly gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
