Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Oriah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Oriah. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oriah punishes Wilson's body with a nice straight punch.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oriah.

and Wilson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Wilson lands a slapping body shot.
Wilson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Oriah takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wilson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Oriah's head.

It looks like Adam Oriah has been cut.
Wilson wants to clinch but Oriah slips to the side

and Oriah counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Oriah not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Oriah is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wilson!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
