Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Fontana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Macaw!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontana closes the distance but Macaw moves to the side
and Macaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fontana moves into the clinch.
Macaw blocking some punches.
Macaw is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Fontana.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fontana.
Fontana scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Macaw wants to break free but Fontana has control.
Fontana gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Macaw is looking to improve his position.
Macaw pushes Fontana off but Fontana dives into side control.
Fontana content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Fontana is looking to take a break and control but Macaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oh Fontana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Macaw misses with an uppercut
and Fontana counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Macaw tries to work over Fontana's front leg with a kick but Fontana checks it.

Fontana bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fontana seems to have got his legs back now.
Fontana tries to clinch but Macaw moves away
and Macaw counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fontana thinking.

and Macaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Macaw misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fontana.

and Macaw counters with a thumping low kick.
Fontana closes the distance but Macaw moves to the side
and Macaw counters with a right hand to the body.
Fontana is breathing heavily.
Macaw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Macaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Oooooh!!! Macaw has knocked Fontana down with a huge combo! Macaw steps away and waves a wobbly Fontana back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fontana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Macaw throws out the jab.
Macaw misses with a looping left.
Macaw circles away from the clinch attempt
and Macaw scores with a counter punch that sends Fontana to the canvas! Macaw smells blood - he's punishing Fontana with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Fontana has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
