Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Ananasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Javier Restrepo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jhon Javier Restrepo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Restrepo misses the jab.
Restrepo looks to land a combination but Ananasov avoids it well.
Restrepo misses with a double jab

and Ananasov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ananasov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ananasov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ananasov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Restrepo defend it? Ananasov steps over the head and cranks it - Restrepo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ananasov!
