Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Submission Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cote comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. James Cote has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Submission Master!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master misses with a right hand
and Cote counters with a nice uppercut.
Master fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cote manages to avoid it.

It looks like Submission Master has been cut.
Cote looks to land a combination but Master avoids it well.
Master throws a poor cross that misses

and Cote counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cote is looking to work some ground and pound but Master has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Master utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cote stops Master from standing up.

Master pushes Cote off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Cote makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cote stalks Master and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Master's face. Master staggers backwards, shaken.

and Cote counters with a nice double leg into side control. Master won't be happy with that.
Master is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Well Cote has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
