Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carl Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Carlson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vicious is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carlson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carlson's back!

Carlson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Carlson tries to close the distance and clinch but Vicious swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vicious is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carlson closes the distance and clinches up with Vicious, looking for a takedown. Carlson pushes Vicious against the cage but Vicious circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Carlson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Carlson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vicious, up you get!

Carlson shoots for a double leg takedown but Vicious sprawls well. He's pushed Carlson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Carlson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vicious is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Carlson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vicious is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carlson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vicious's back instead.

Carlson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Vicious has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Vicious really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carlson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
