Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shikkuzaru Soma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luisito Luzara!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luzara closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Soma quickly recovers to half guard.
Luzara is stalling here. Soma is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Luzara seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Soma has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Soma creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Luzara sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Luzara tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Luzara manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Luzara postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Soma to stand up.

Luzara shoots in and gets a takedown into Soma's guard.

Luzara drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Luzara seems to have locked his on tight now - Soma screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Luzara, as he picks up the win!
