Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phil Harmonic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeeJay Request!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Request throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harmonic with a poor takedown
and Request counters with a nice body shot.
Request connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Request ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harmonic moves away.
Request cracks Harmonic with a right hand to the side of the head.


It looks like Phil Harmonic has been cut.
Request throws a hook to the side of Harmonic's head but Harmonic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Request misses with a hook

and Harmonic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Request's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harmonic throwing strikes from guard but Request blocks nicely.

Request looking for subs off his back but Harmonic has passed one foot through into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harmonic wants to free his trapped foot but Request is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Request looking for a kimura from the bottom but Harmonic passes into side control!
Harmonic in side control lands a decent elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harmonic landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Request tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Request is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Harmonic decides to stand up, so the ref orders Request to his feet.
Request keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Request misses with a shot to the body

and Harmonic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Request's guard.
Harmonic advances to half guard.
Harmonic sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Request defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Request is looking to get back to full guard here but Harmonic has managed to pass to side control instead.
Harmonic misses with the ground and pound.

Harmonic in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Request is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
