Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damon Rekker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Cozad!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozad looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rekker is fending him off so far but Cozad persists. Nope, Rekker circles away and we're back to standing.
Rekker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rekker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cozad counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rekker won't be happy with that.
Cozad advances to full mount.
Rekker is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Cozad tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rekker is desperately trying to improve his position but Cozad has a good base and remains in mount.
Rekker wants to control but Cozad is having none of it.
Cozad breaks from Rekker's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Cozad throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rekker because Cozad loaded up on that one.
Cozad sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Rekker tries to hold on but Cozad pushes him away.
Cozad unloads with some shots from mount but Rekker bucks and avoids them well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rekker is looking to improve his position but Cozad isn't that keen on the idea.
Cozad throwing strikes but Rekker uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Cozad wants to free his trapped foot but Rekker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cozad thows a huge punch but Rekker dodges it nicely.

Cozad decides to stand and escape the position.
Rekker throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cozad colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rekker as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cozad is left battered and dazed whilst Rekker and his camp cheer!
