The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Schwarz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Inoue bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Inoue controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inoue misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Schwarz is looking to reverse the position.

Schwarz is squirming around, avoiding Inoue's attempts to control the action.
Inoue might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Schwarz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Schwarz tries to buck Inoue off but he can't manage it.
Inoue misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Inoue is landing with some decent strikes but Schwarz is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Inoue swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Schwarz is now in Inoue's guard. A big mistake from Inoue there, giving up the dominant position!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Inoue changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwarz tries to avoid it but Inoue manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwarz to the ground. Schwarz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Inoue is trying hard to land a takedown here. Schwarz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Schwarz just misses with a punch to the body.
Inoue shoots in and drives through. Schwarz sprawls well.
Hans Schwarz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroto Inoue.

Schwarz throws a right and a left that Inoue avoids nicely.

Hiroto Inoue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Schwarz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Inoue thinking.
Inoue is breathing heavily.
Schwarz fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Hiroto Inoue has been cut.
Schwarz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schwarz scores with a hook to the body. Inoue takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Schwarz drops Inoue with a left and a right! Oh, Inoue is hurt - Schwarz dives into side control looking to finish!
Inoue tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Schwarz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Schwarz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Schwarz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Inoue is rocked!

Schwarz connects with a nice cross there... Inoue is looking wobbly and Schwarz recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Inoue to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Schwarz jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
