Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pac Quiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gustafsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dark Tranquility - The Final Resistance. Quiao is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Water Song - Jorma Kaukonen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quiao throws an overhand right that lands on Gustafsson's shoulder, as Gustafsson tries to avoid the shot.
Gustafsson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gustafsson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gustafsson duly obliges.

Gustafsson shoots in and bounces Quiao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gustafsson stays in close to Quiao's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gustafsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Horrible takedown by Gustafsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Quiao which made him look bad.

Gustafsson closes the distance and clinches up with Quiao, looking for a takedown. Gustafsson pushes Quiao against the cage but Quiao circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Quiao is trying to control the position but Gustafsson postures up.
Quiao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
