Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milton Howzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hank Holliday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Milton Howzer!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howzer looks to land a combination but Holliday avoids it well.
Howzer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Howzer rushes Holliday and presses him up against the cage.
Howzer keeps control of Holliday as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Holliday is looking to control Howzer's arms but Howzer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Holliday has his back to the cage.
Howzer tries for a takedown. No joy.

Howzer manages to break the clinch.
Holliday tries to close the distance and clinch up but Howzer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Holliday shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Holliday pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Howzer is desperately trying to improve his position but Holliday has a good base and remains in mount.
Holliday wants to control the pace but Howzer is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holliday throwing strikes here but Howzer is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Howzer wants to hold on but Holliday pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holliday tries to control but Howzer wriggling away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Holliday lands a nice shot to the head.

Holliday has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Howzer wants to get back to his feet.
Holliday wants to stand but Howzer has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Holliday is looking to stall here but Howzer recovers full guard.
Holliday wants to control from the top but Howzer keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Howzer pulls Holliday in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Howzer closes the distance and clinches up with Holliday, looking for a takedown. Howzer pushes Holliday against the cage but Holliday circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Howzer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Milton Howzer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Howzer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Holliday wants to control for a moment but Howzer uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Holliday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Milton Howzer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Howzer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
