The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces NBomga off the cage and back into rage.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A head kick by Silva misses
and NBomga counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
NBomga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
NBomga decides to return to a standing position.
NBomga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

NBomga sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silva's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

NBomga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Samuel NBomga just wasn't active enough.
NBomga rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.

Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but NBomga has double underhooks.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
NBomga looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

NBomga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
NBomga closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - NBomga lands in his opponent's guard.
NBomga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
NBomga slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with NBomga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We're going to have a standup here because Samuel NBomga wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
NBomga shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. NBomga showed some decent athleticism there.
NBomga passes the guard and advances to mount!
Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

NBomga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
NBomga swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
