Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Redgrave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killa ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ko has chosen jay rock blood nigga as his entrance music. Killa ko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redgrave misses with a wild combination.
Redgrave really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
ko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Redgrave pulls his leg out and moves away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

ko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and ko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

ko drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Redgrave manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now ko has Redgrave in his guard.
Redgrave wants to get up but he can't break ko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Redgrave will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Horrible takedown by Redgrave or perhaps it was just good defense by ko which made him look bad.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

ko is working for takedown but Redgrave is calmly controlling the position for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Redgrave.
