Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Rubber!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Rubber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rubber looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones wants to clinch.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rubber sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rubber is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are battling for position here. Rubber manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Rubber had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rubber Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.

so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rubber is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver Rubber dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rubber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rubber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Rubber has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rubber sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Jones taps out!
