The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kettering doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Moretti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kettering closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kettering lands in his opponent's guard.
Moretti working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kettering doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kettering manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kettering slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kettering in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Kettering has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moretti is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kettering yanks on the arm and Moretti is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kettering.
