Cooke is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cave In. Dave Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nathen Cooke's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cooke moves forwards but Anderson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Anderson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cooke throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anderson digs a good hook to Cooke's body.

Anderson throws a left that rocks Cooke and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Anderson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Cooke regain composure!

Cooke is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cooke is trying to control Anderson's posture but Anderson avoids it.
Cooke is still in real trouble! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cooke will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cooke seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cooke manages to get back to half guard.
Cooke is looking to get back to is feet but Anderson passes into side control.
Anderson staying calm.
Cooke is looking to get back to his feet here but Anderson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cooke's back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
I would not like to be Cooke right now.

Anderson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Anderson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Anderson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Anderson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Anderson misses with a double jab.
Anderson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cooke. Cooke circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anderson connects with a right hand. Cooke shakes it off.
Cooke takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Anderson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Anderson throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Cooke tumbling to the canvas!

Cooke is rocked!

Anderson gets to his feet - Cooke follows without any prompting.
Cooke is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson throws a pinpoint strike between Cooke's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Cooke crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Anderson scores a great knockout victory!
