Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Mega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Queriza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mega comes to the cage accompanied by Black and Yellow. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Queriza!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Mega.
Queriza fails with the takedown
and Mega counters with a three punch combo that has Queriza backing up. Queriza nods at Mega to acknowledge the strikes.
Queriza misses the shot to the body.
Queriza misses with a takedown attempt
and Mega counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mega throws a body punch but Queriza moves out of range.
Mega thows a left - swing and a miss!
Queriza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mega manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Mega counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Max Mega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Queriza.
Mega moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Mega counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Mega throws a series of punches but Queriza moves out of range.
Queriza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Queriza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Max Mega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Queriza takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Queriza moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Queriza has his takedown stuffed
and Mega counters with a left and a right that stings Queriza.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mega bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Queriza's head backwards.
Mega dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Queriza takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Queriza looks gassed!
Mega lunges at Queriza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Queriza's hand.
Mega works Queriza's body with a nice hook.
A punch lands to the side of Queriza 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mega moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mega will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Queriza tries to move into range but Mega moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Queriza drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mega is looking to stand up but Queriza isn't so interested in that idea.
Mega has his hands on Queriza's head, controlling the position.
Mega wants to get back to his feet but Queriza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Queriza trying to control the position from guard on top but Mega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mega lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Queriza!
Mega throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Mega connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Queriza is still in real trouble! Can Mega finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mega looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Queriza covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
