Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter McJones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Carleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter McJones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vito Carleone! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carleone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McJones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Carleone wants to stand but McJones has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carleone stopping the sweep attempt from McJones. McJones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McJones tries to get out of the position. McJones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carleone manages to get himself to full guard.
Carleone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McJones! McJones gets back to half guard. McJones gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. McJones has his foot on Carleone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carleone works his way back into a safe position though. McJones is adopting a defensive guard. Carleone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carleone looking to sit in guard and control but McJones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carleone keeping moving, preventing McJones from controlling successfully. McJones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. McJones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Carleone keeping full guard, as McJones tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McJones advances position into side control! Carleone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McJones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McJones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Carleone tries to improve position but can't. McJones is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Carleone's shoulder. That is not cool. Carleone is trying to get back to his feet. Carleone takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Carleone looks gassed! Carleone is trying to improve his position. McJones scores with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McJones scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Carleone to see if he's OK. McJones moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. McJones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McJones cracks Carleone with a big elbow. McJones slows the pace down. McJones lands a nice forearm strike. Carleone takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McJones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McJones is looking to take a break and control but Carleone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McJones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carleone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carleone is trying to escape the position but McJones is controlling the position. Carleone wants to control but McJones postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McJones lands a few punches from side control. Carleone taking a bit of punishment here - McJones scoring with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter McJones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McJones gets the takedown into side control. Carleone is trying to escape the position but McJones is controlling the position. Carleone is not content to let McJones control the position. Peter McJones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Carleone is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McJones controlling the position from side mount. McJones scoring with punches from side control. Carleone is breathing heavily. McJones has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Carleone is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. McJones yanks on the arm and Carleone is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by McJones.
