The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Hook attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A low kick from Mayweather is predictable there
and Van Hook finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Van Hook tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Crunch! Van Hook slams his shin into Mayweather's torso.
Mayweather throws a head kick that misses
and Van Hook counters with a good low kick that Mayweather was not able to check.

Van Hook drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Van Hook is looking to take a break and control but Mayweather is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Van Hook is trying to get an arm triangle but Mayweather is defending well.
Mayweather manages to work his way to half guard, despite Van Hook's best efforts.
