Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pure White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martik Stepanyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martik Stepanyan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pure White's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pure White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martik Stepanyan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepanyan shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Stepanyan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at White to see if he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stepanyan off and has taken his back!
White is trying to control but Stepanyan is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

White cracks Stepanyan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stepanyan wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.

Martik Stepanyan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


White uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Stepanyan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Pure White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stepanyan to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Stepanyan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Let's hope that Stepanyan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Stepanyan shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Stepanyan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pure White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martik Stepanyan.
White throws the left hand but Stepanyan avoids the punch easily.

Stepanyan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stepanyan defends it easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Martik Stepanyan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Stepanyan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
