Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vuera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaari Kuukonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vuera's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Forever Young. Brandon Vuera looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vuera has Kuukonen up against the ropes in a clinch.
Vuera lands a body shot.

Vuera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kuukonen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vuera as he avoids it easily.
Vuera throws a body kick that misses.
Kuukonen dodges the punch combination from Vuera.
No luck for Kuukonen with that takedown attempt.
Kuukonen shoots in for a double leg but Vuera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brandon Vuera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaari Kuukonen.
Kuukonen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vuera swivels and escapes.
Kuukonen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jaari Kuukonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vuera looks to land a combination but Kuukonen avoids it well.
Kuukonen tries for a takedown but Vuera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kuukonen shoots in looking for a takedown. Vuera tries to sprawl out of it but Kuukonen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Vuera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vuera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kuukonen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kuukonen tries to clinch but Vuera is having none of it.
Vuera connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuukonen. Kuukonen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kuukonen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vuera misses with a wild combination.
Vuera looks to land a combination but Kuukonen avoids it well.
Vuera keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vuera misses with a series of wild punches.
Vuera cracks Kuukonen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vuera throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kuukonen.
Kuukonen shoots in but no luck this time.

Kuukonen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vuera sprawls well initially but Kuukonen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kuukonen seems to be working for a kimura but Vuera defends the submission attempt.
Vuera wants to improve his position but Kuukonen is controlling well.

Kuukonen is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vuera is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
