Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Waldemar Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunther Wehlpapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Waldemar Silvia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gunther Wehlpapp!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wehlpapp tries to keep at a distance but Silvia has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silvia breaks the clinch.
Silvia moves into range and clinches up with Wehlpapp.
Silvia turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silvia manages to end up in side control.
Wehlpapp takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Silvia misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Silvia is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wehlpapp knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wehlpapp defending against the ground and pound.
Wehlpapp tries to bench press Silvia off him but Silvia keeps the position.
Silvia has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Waldemar Silvia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silvia wants to clinch.
Silvia has managed to clinch.
Wehlpapp is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silvia softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Silvia drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wehlpapp pulls his leg out and moves away.
Silvia jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Silvia throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silvia moves into range and clinches up with Wehlpapp.
Silvia goes for a takedown attempt but Wehlpapp pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A combination from Silvia does no damage.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Silvia.
Wehlpapp struggling a bit here.
Silvia tries to advance to mount but can't.
Silvia is breathing heavily.
Silvia lands an elbow.
Wehlpapp managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Silvia.
Wehlpapp gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wehlpapp moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wehlpapp is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Silvia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wehlpapp working for a triangle but Silvia defends it easily.
Silvia could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silvia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wehlpapp looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silvia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Wehlpapp is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Silvia frees his head nicely. Oh but Wehlpapp has switched to an armbar! Silvia is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
