Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Shiltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips has chosen Tarantula as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Damien Shiltz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Damien Shiltz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phillips scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shiltz is trying to control but Phillips passes into side control!

Phillips wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shiltz, who protects the arm well.
Shiltz is trying to get back to his feet.

Shiltz looks to move to half guard but instead Phillips has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phillips swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Shiltz is now in Phillips's guard. A big mistake from Phillips there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shiltz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Phillips is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Shiltz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Phillips swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Phillips is on top in guard.

Phillips wants to work for an arm triangle but Shiltz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Phillips wants to finish this one by submission but Shiltz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Phillips.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Phillips shoots in looking for a takedown. Shiltz tries to sprawl out of it but Phillips keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shiltz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Damien Shiltz will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
