Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Woods is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gailfus tries to clinch there but Woods circles away.
Woods circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Woods counter with a right hand.

Gailfus scores with a takedown into Woods's guard.

Woods looking for a sweep. Not yet Woods, not yet.
Woods is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Woods controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Woods is on top in guard.
Gailfus looking to control.
Gailfus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Woods should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Woods looking to sit in guard and control but Gailfus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gailfus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woods on the ground.

Gailfus throws a strike but Woods rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Woods drops back looking for a leg! Gailfus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gailfus manages to kick Woods off! Woods jumps back into Gailfus's guard.

Gailfus has his foot on Woods's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Woods works his way back into a safe position though.
Woods stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gailfus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Woods slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Woods stops Gailfus from standing up.
Gailfus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gailfus throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Woods drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gailfus dives on top into guard.
Woods is trying to control the position but Gailfus postures up.
Woods keeping moving, preventing Gailfus from controlling successfully.
Woods manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Woods mounts Gailfus! Really nice guard pass there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Woods looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Woods wants to finish this one by submission but Gailfus is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Woods.
Gailfus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gailfus can't escape the position.
Gailfus is working hard here to advance position.
Woods trying to control but Gailfus is having none of it.

Gailfus tries to lock up and control but Woods gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Woods is working for a guillotine from mount but Gailfus frees his head quite easily.

Gailfus is trying to defend against the choke here but Woods has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Woods Tightens the hold and Gailfus taps out furiously! Woods displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
