Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong's entrance music is We Were Soldiers by Sgt. Mackenzie. A fine choice. Jenkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lamb of God - Nippon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Craig Armstrong has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong has his takedown stuffed
and Jenkins counters with a stiff right hand.
Jenkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Armstrong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jenkins's guard.
Armstrong postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Armstrong, into his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Armstrong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jenkins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Armstrong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Armstrong's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
