Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitali Klitschko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Revenge of the Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitali Klitschko has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klitschko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Revenge of the Bastard has been cut.
Bastard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice uppercut lands for Bastard. That snapped Klitschko's head back.
Bastard connects with the punch.

Bastard is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Klitschko is in real trouble.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bastard is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Klitschko defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Klitschko throws and elbow that misses. Bastard uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Klitschko's guard. Nice move by Bastard!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Klitschko wants to stand and escape but Bastard is having none of it.

Bastard is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Klitschko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Klitschko has escaped and now he's on top!
Bastard looking for a sweep. Not yet Bastard, not yet.
Bastard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bastard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Klitschko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bastard.

Nice uppercut lands for Bastard. That snapped Klitschko's head back.
Klitschko fails to land the takedown.
Bastard scores with a jab to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bastard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Klitschko to the mat! Klitschko manages to get full guard.

Bastard is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bastard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bastard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Klitschko wants to get back to his feet but Bastard is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Revenge of the Bastard hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Klitschko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bastard momentarily.
Klitschko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bastard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Klitschko throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Revenge of the Bastard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Klitschko has his takedown stuffed
and Bastard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bastard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bastard shoots in looking for a takedown but Klitschko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bastard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bastard smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Vitali Klitschko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bastard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bastard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bastard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Klitschko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bastard is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Klitschko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bastard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Klitschko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Klitschko shrugs it off.

Well Bastard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
