The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto thumps Ali with a low kick.
Ali stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pinto.
Ali takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Pinto throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ali fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pinto is looking to slow Ali down with leg kicks.
Pinto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pinto scores with a spinning back kick!
Ali looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pinto throws a front kick that sends Ali stumbling back into the cage.
Pinto moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pinto goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pinto looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ali sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pinto. That's going to slow Ali down.
Pinto lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pinto lands a head kick!

It looks like Mohammed Ali has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ali chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pinto can pounce on him.
Pinto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pinto scores with a kick to the body.

Ali shoots and misses
and Pinto counters with a good, hard body kick but Ali shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ali takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ali tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Whack! Pinto lands a heavy head kick that drops Ali. The ref tackles Pinto to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ali was done.
