Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Okiro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Okiro.
Smith throws a quick inside leg kick.
Okiro thuds a left hand into Smith's body.
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Okiro counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Okiro sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith shoots in but Okiro avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Okiro avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Okiro counters by moving into the clinch.
Okiro lands a body punch.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith swings wildly with an uppercut but Okiro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Okiro breaks the clinch.
Okiro tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Okiro lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into rage.
Rickhard Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okiro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Okiro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smith is controlling him.

Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Okiro has wrist control.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Okiro pushes Smith off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smith throws a low kick but it's checked well by Okiro.
Smith misses with a hook
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Okiro circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Okiro.
Smith throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Okiro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Rickhard Smith has been cut.
Okiro with a jab.
Okiro avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Okiro sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickhard Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Okiro lands with a right hand.
Okiro lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Okiro jabs at Smith's body.
Okiro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Okiro cracks a nice hook into Smith's ribs.
Okiro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smith. Smith circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Okiro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.

Smith postures up in Okiro's guard and throws a big left but Okiro blocks it.
Okiro is adopting a defensive guard.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Okiro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Okiro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Smith trying to control but Okiro is working from the bottom.
Okiro manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Okiro dips to his left and cracks Smith with an uppercut!
Lyon Okiro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Okiro scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Okiro lands a jab to Smith's midsection.
Okiro lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand.
Okiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Okiro has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Okiro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Smith.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Okiro lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Okiro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rickhard Smith's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Okiro fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Smith takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Okiro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Okiro scrambles back to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Okiro.
