Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunn Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Show's choice of entrance music: Real American. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan misses with a two punch combination.
Jordan tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Show counter with a right hand.

It looks like Guy Jordan has been cut.
Jordan tries a head kick but it misses.
Show tries to close the distance and clinch but Jordan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Show looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Show counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Show.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Show has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jordan is proving hard to escape from.
Show loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Show slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Show decides to stand back up.

Show clinches up with Jordan and pushes him back against the cage.
Show prevents Jordan from breaking the clinch.
Jordan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Show's face.

Jordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jordan wants to clinch
and Show makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jordan is breathing heavily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Show and sends Jordan crashing to the mat! Show follows him down to the mat - Jordan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Jordan is rocked!

Jordan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Show thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Show sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jordan defending well though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Show tries to stand and escape but Jordan is controlling the position.
Show not doing much here.
Let's hope that Show has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gunn Show hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Show instigates a clinch.
Show is looking to break free of the clinch but Jordan has double underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Show is trying to push Jordan away but Jordan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Show lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Guy Jordan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Show breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Show is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Show has a takedown stuffed.

Show moves into the clinch.
Show has had enough of the clinch but Jordan keeps him there for the moment.
Show lands with a short shot to the head.
Jordan gets underhooks to prevent Show's takedown attempt.
A nice right hand lands inside from Show.
Show lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jordan or not.
Show is trying to break free.

Show pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Show throws a series of punches but Jordan moves out of range.
Show lands with a nice combination. Jordan backs away looking to recover.

Jeez, Guy Jordan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Guy Jordan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
